Lesser known Bali Pass trek is the trail to cross the watershed between Yamuna and its main tributary Tons river. Bali pass at ~ 16000 ft connects the Ruinsara – Har Ki Dun area with Yamunotri valley. This one is a moderate but next level trek. If you have already been to moderate treks like Roopkund, Rupin Pass or Goecha La then this is the next step forward. Bali Pass trek route is a relatively shorter duration trek which requires walking of less than 60 Km trail. Although the pass itself at 16000 ft offers the variety of elements and associated challenges.

Meet & greet at Haridwar Hotel. Check into the hotel and rest for the day. Post Dinner an introduction session will be conducted. O/n Haridwar.
Morning depart for Sankri Base camp (10 hours approx journey). Expect to reach Sankri village by evening. Free time in the evning to explore Sankri. O/n Sankri.
Morning after breakfast drive to Taluka. Reach Taluka and start the trek for Seema. Most of the trail is gradual ascent. Walk though the Supin River by your side. Trek is in the forest of Deodar trees, Bamboo, wild roses, irises and chestnut. Enough source of water on the way to fill your bottles. Osla village is opposite to Seema. Reach Seema by evening and rest for the day.
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Devsu Bugyal. Moderate to difficult ascent and descent. One can see the confluence of Har Ki Dun and Ruinsara rivers. The magnificent view of Black Peak (Kala Nag) from Debshu Bugyal. Mixed scenery of forest, meadows and boulders. Reach Devsu Bugyal and rest for the day.
Morning after breakfast trek to Ruinsara Lake. The trek will be a moderate ascent. Ruinsara lake is surrounded by meadows and rhododendron bushes. The trail will be of boulders and meadows and waterfall in between. One can view Yamuna Kanta (the pass which takes you to Yamunotri), Banderpooch Peak, Dhumdhar Kandi Black Peak (Kala Nag) and White Peak from campsite. Reach Ruinsara Tal and rest for the day.
Morning after breakfast start the trek to Odari. It will be Steep and gradual mixed ascent. There will be River crossing enroute will cross by making human chain. Odari means a naturally made rock cave. It is believed that Bali (Hanuman’s brother) stayed in Odari for one night. Reach Odari and rest for the day.
After breakfast start the trek for Advance base camp. The route will be steep and technical ascent of 1-1.5 hours till the base camp. O/n Advance Base camp.
Morning after breakfast start the summit trek to Bali pass. One can get a picturesque view of Bandarpoonch, Kalanag (Black Peak), Ruinsara and Yamuntori side, logical route to Saptarishikund from the summit. After Bali pass, half of the trek is technical descent. Reach Lower Dhamni and rest after a long and tiring day.
Morning after breakfast start the trek to Janki Chatti via Yamunotri. Reach Yamunotri Dham and get the blessing. After reaching Yamunotri one can also take a dip in the Sulphur Hot Spring in Yamunotri. Later we follow the pilgrim route and descend to Janki Chatti. Reach Janki Chatti and rest for the day.
After breakfast drive from Janki Chatti to Haridwar (7-8 hours). Reach Haridwar and rest for the day. If time permits one can watch ganga aarti at Har ki Pauri at Haridwar. O/n Haridwar.
Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel. The trek ends here with sweet memories, new bunch of friends and lots of adventure.

They also have a sound knowledge of First Aid.
