Rupin Pass is a high altitude trek which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends at Sangla. Majorly you will do Trekking in Himachal as 80% of the trek route is there itself. Rupin Pass is considered among one of the high range expeditions for Trekking in India not just sole reason for its popularity among trekkers, the diversified number of sceneries and sudden variation in trails also attracts many nature lovers. You will get surprised at every hour by the number of variety which mother nature has to offer you in Rupin Pass Trek. The trails at times are very difficult with its steep climbs which suddenly changes to an easy walks.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • Trekkers should follow the schedules and rules. Leaders’ decisions will be the final decision.
  • Beyond Altitudes reserves the right to make any changes in the program or schedule without any prior notice.
  • Trekkers will have to bear extra charges if any unavoidable expenses occurred due to a change in program or group over-spending.
  • Non-Veg. Food, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics, and any kind of Intoxication, Firearms, and Gambling are strictly prohibited.
  • All the programs include purely vegetarian healthy food only.
  • Do not carry or wear any VALUABLES, ORNAMENTS / JEWELLERY, etc. The Organisers are not responsible for any loss or theft of the valuables.
  • Take care of the mountains. Plastic items, wrappers, toilet paper, empty boxes should not be littered but carried up to the next camp for necessary disposal.
  • Beyond Altitudes reserves the right to cancel the booking of the trekkers if required.

Itinerary

Day 1Meet & greet at Shimla Hotel and rest for the day.

Day 2Drive from Shimla to Chirgaon/Shiladesh. 6 hrs drive.

Day 3Trek from Shiladesh to Jakha (via Chanshal Pass)

Day 4Trek to Jakha to Uraknaal Thatch.

Day 5Trek From Uraknaal thatch to Dhanderas thatch (11680ft.) (4-5hrs.).

Day 6Trek From Danderas Thatch to Upper Waterfall (13120ft.) (4-5hrs.).

 

 

Day 7Trek from Upper Waterfall to RontiGad cross Rupin Pass (15250ft.) (8-hrs.)

Day 8Trek from Rontigad to Sangla (4 hours trek). Later drive from Sangla to Shimla

Day 9Morning after breakfast checkout from Shimla hotel. The trek ends with lots of Adventure

Yes, depending on the group strength and composition we allot both male and female instructors.

How qualified are your trek leader?

Our trek leader are experienced mountaineers who have undergone rigorous training schedules in the mountains as a part of Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Courses from renounced institutes like Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS, Manali) and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM, Uttarakhand) under the guidance of legendary mountaineers of India. They also have a sound knowledge of First Aid.
